Prepare for a Peaceful Week Ahead

A Free Evening of Mindfulness Meditation with Buddhist Monks

Why do we say that?

Because that’s exactly how our participants describe it.

Month after month, newcomers arrive curious, sometimes anxious—and leave feeling deeply fulfilled, inspired, and renewed with hope.
Many have shared that they “never expected such calm and clarity in just one evening.”

Mindfulness truly is a remarkable experience—simple, yet transformative.

This session is specially designed for beginners, with gentle guidance, easy-to-follow techniques, and heartfelt support from compassionate Buddhist monks. If you’ve ever felt curious about meditation but unsure where to start—this is the place.

Children practicing mindfulness and meditation at the Kids' Mindfulness School hosted by Mahamevnawa Buddha Meditation Center of Maryland, Greater Washington DC. Resident monks teach children peaceful mental growth, Buddhist Dhamma, and good qualities in a supportive community environment.

Guided by Monks

—True Experts in Mindfulness

What makes this session truly special is who’s guiding it.

You won’t be meditating with an app or following a video—you’ll be learning directly from Buddhist monks who have dedicated their lives to mindfulness and inner peace.

These monks are not just instructors—they are living examples of compassion, clarity, and balance. Their presence brings deep calm to the room, and their teachings are shaped by years of personal practice and ancient wisdom.

Having personal guidance from monks is not something you’ll easily find elsewhere—especially in such a warm, beginner-friendly space.

You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and receive personal insights from teachers who walk the path every day.
